A 20-metre inflatable ramoroka
At the end of last year the team Suzumori laboratory at the Tokyo Institute of technology presented its latest development — a robotic arm consisting of helium-filled balloons. With the help of pneumatic actuators, the manipulator Arm with Giacometti Balloon Body is easily (but not very promptly) changes its shape. Since the structure weighs in at only 1.2 kg, even falling on the person, it will not cause serious harm. The robot can be used in search and rescue missions.
