Role-playing the Fallout series are known for their variability and large open worlds, the study of which can take hundreds of hours. Against this background, the results of speedrunners seem even more ludicrous than usual. The most skilled of them can beat the game faster than some players will have time to create your character. So, speedrunner under the name Kungkobra set a world record in speed, passing Fallout: New Vegas, showing incredible time.
The passage of the main storyline Fallout: New Vegas, the player took just 13 minutes and 45 seconds. To achieve this result speedrunner had to use a few simple techniques, including game, skip dialogs by using a quick save, walk through walls and more. The main trick when high-speed passing was using the gimmick of “dashing reload”, allowing to instantly move in any direction. For this you need to buy a gun in a post-apocalyptic and attach it to a hotkey. If you send the weapon in the desired direction, activate recharge, open Pip-Boy, shoot the gun and press the Tab key, the character will “fly” in specified direction.
This is not the first time Kungkobra sets a world record in speed, passing Fallout: New Vegas. A year ago he managed to beat the game then without using the “reload dashing” – for 19 minutes and 52 seconds.
