Apple pays freelancers to improve their own maps
For anybody not a secret that the Apple map service is still far from ideal, so the company is constantly working on its improvement.
As a private of company resources to work on Apple Maps is not enough, it attracts freelancers to improve the quality of their cards.
According to information obtained from the French blogger, iGeneration, last year Apple placed on the platform called TryRating a lot of applications — for each completed task, the Corporation paid 54 cents, while freelancers could not carry out more than 600 tasks per week.
Most of the tasks looked like this: freelancers needed to compare the accuracy of the location on Apple Maps with other services, to verify its address, a correct display and so on.
