Last year Apple released new MacBook Pro with touch bar Touch Bar, to control which uses a proprietary chip T1. According to Bloomberg, the new chipset with the codename T310 will be responsible for the function of Power Nap. It allows the computer to check email, sync calendars and to download updates in sleep mode. Even with Intel, she has virtually no impact on battery life, but with the transition to ARM power consumption will decrease even more. Perhaps T310 will appear in the updated MacBook Pro models 2017, though not the fact that Apple will report about this change during the presentation of the laptops.
Last year Consumer Reports experts did not recommend a new MacBook Pro to buy because of the very unstable time of Autonomous work.
