Characteristics of the Google Pixel XL2 disclosed in the benchmark
Last year, Google rejected the idea of joint production of smartphones to other companies within the Nexus line, presenting devices of its own design – Pixel and Pixel XL. At the start of sales users have encountered several problems, but despite this, many believe “pixels” the best Android smartphones. In the early years there were the first rumors that Google is already developing a new generation of smartphones. Now this appeared the first confirmation – the characteristics of the Pixel XL2 in the benchmark GFXBench.
The main change Pixel XL2 in comparison with the predecessor should be the appearance. According to GFXBench, the smartphone will receive a 5.6-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1312 pixels. This implies that the aspect ratio of the screen Pixel XL2 is 18:9 – as for LG G6. It is not clear whether to leave Google one big frame in the bottom as in Xiaomi Mi Mix, small from all sides, like in the Samsung Galaxy S8 or LG G6, or even produce edge-to-edge smartphone.
Other specifications include a Pixel XL2 OCTA-core processor Qualcomm with a frequency of 2.4 GHz (probably Snapdragon 835), 4 GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory, 12-megapixel main camera, 8 megapixel front camera, NFC, and one slot for SIM-cards.
It is expected that Google will introduce a new smartphone in September or October of this year.
