Confirmed the design of the OnePlus 5: the twin brother of the iPhone 7 Plus

The first prototypes of the OnePlus 5 strongly resembled the previous generation model, but the final version of the smartphone has changed beyond recognition. That’s just OnePlus rushed to the other extreme — the product is almost an exact copy of the iPhone 7 Plus. If after the publication of the press photos above, we still had doubts about this, but now the company has confirmed the worst fears. Updated cover in social networks shows the back side of the metal casing:

On the back panel of OnePlus 5 is dual camera, presumably with a 16-megapixel sensors. The module was developed together with experts from DxOMark who evaluate the capabilities of the cameras of modern smartphones and is your fotoflame. The device has a top-end chipset, the Snapdragon 835, and in addition to the standard model with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory will go on sale in 8/128 version GB. Rumors attributed to the gadget’s 5.5-inch display.

Price and date of announcement

OnePlus has already announced the premiere date of mobile — on 20 June at 19.00 Kyiv time / GMT. The presentation will be broadcast live. If you believe the rumors, the OnePlus 5 price will be $550 or 550 euros, depending on region, but on which version of the flagship in question — unknown. For comparison, OnePlus 3T is 440 euros. Copy the design almost three years ago Apple wasn’t the best idea, but so do other manufacturers, in greater or lesser degree.
