Find My Device from the Google will find your smartphone in case of theft
In 2013, Google introduced the Android Device Manager app that showed on a map your lost or stolen Android smartphone with the ability to ring or erase the data. Started on the conference Google I/O, the company announced a major update useful app to version 2.0 with simultaneous renaming in the Find My Device (“device Found” in Russian localization).
In General, the purpose of the application has not changed, but changed the design and added the ability to quickly switch between multiple connected devices in one window.
Find My Device shows on the map Google Maps current or last known location of the smartphone, forces a sound alert for the rapid detection, displays the message lost device, lock it or erase data. Most users praised the update, although many noted that we have the same Android Device Manager, but in the new shell without any change in functionality.
