Last month representatives of Dontnod Entertainment has officially statedthat they are already working on a new part of the popular adventure game Life is Strange. They added that the development is still at an early stage, and therefore to wait for the full announcement in the near future is not worth it. However, the first screenshots and concept art of the new Life is Strange was successfully merged into the network.

The first images of the next Life is Strange make it clear that we expect a prequel to the first part. The game will tell about the origin of the friendship between Chloe and Rachel. It should be noted that this project does not Dontnod Entertainment, and Deck Nine Games. Yesterday, the Studio changed its name (previously it was called Idol Minds) and said that working on a famous franchise, where the emphasis is on storytelling. On the server Deck Nine Games was discovered the aforementioned screenshots and arts.

If the information is correct, the prequel will be announced at the exhibition E3 2017. As for Dontnod Entertainment, the Studio is also working on a game franchise Life is Strange, but we are talking about a completely different project – not the prequel. It remains to wait for official announcement or rebuttal from the representatives of both studios.
