Panasonic company took part in the exhibition MWC 2017 and brought to Barcelona a new device 2-in-1 called the Toughbook CF-33. The new product will complement the range of industrial portable line of Toughbook laptops, designed for use in harsh conditions for electronics. The model received a 12-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels, Intel Core i5-7300U vPro, support for 4G LTE, two batteries with hot-swap, providing up to 11 hours of battery life. The device is available in two versions: as a notebook (tablet and keyboard) or only as a tablet.
Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 will be supplied with personal assistant Cortana, as well as with a pre-installed protection system. The model is equipped with ports USB 2.0 and 3.0, HDMI, a slot for microSD-XC, 2-megapixel camera and camera on 8 MP for convenience with work Windows Hello.
The weight of one tablet is about 1.6 kg, while the tablet along with the keyboard is about 2.8 kg. Works device running Windows 10.
As expected all devices in the Toughbook lineup, the novelty is protected from damages at falling, and moisture: Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 manufactured in accordance with military standard MIL-STD-810G. Package Toughbook CF-33 will include a stylus with the protection standard IP55. Secure the accessory supports Windows Ink, while the owners can be sure of getting accurate drawings and graphics even when using the pen in difficult weather conditions.
It is expected that the US market Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 will arrive in may this year. The cost of the device (tablet + keyboard) will be about $4 099, while the tablet will cost $3 499. In Europe the novelty will appear in the second half of 2017.
