Developers remake of Half-Life in 1998 on the Source engine called Black Mesa, once again disappointed in the gaming community: the release of one of the final episodes of the famous shooter, where Gordon Freeman gets in a dimension alien Zen, was postponed again. Now for an indefinite period. Instead, the developers have promised to release something else.
Update from the world of Zen had to leave in the summer, but then the developers announced the postponement of release in December of this year.
“We do not want to make any compromises in the implementation chapters on Xena. So we decided that December will be the final and last release date”, — said the creators.
As usual, the reason for the transfer the developers have called a lack of time to finish all the work.
Recall that Black Mesa is a complete remake of the original Half-Life, has received official approval from Valve. The story of this project began with the work of several teams that at one point I realized that they are doing the same. So they decided to join forces for the release of the epic remake with updated graphics. Originally Black Mesa was created as a free game, but then the enthusiasts it was released through Early Access on Steam. Levels with world of Zen fans have been waiting for several years.
