Review of Micromax Canvas Juice A1 Plus: public sector tastefully

But of course, like any budget, the most important question — how it was successful in terms of price and quality.

The smartphone is sold in a flat square cardboard box that the manufacturer put all the accessories: power supply, micro USB cable, a headset, display protector, microfiber cloth for wiping the screen, and a set of documentation.
Rear panel Canvas Juice A1 Plus is made of metal, and the front panel is completely enclosed by glass. The only color of the case — “champagne” (aka pink gold), but the plastic frame around the perimeter turned out to be black. The combination was an unusual one, but in real life looks good in contrast with the hackneyed white-pink tones. Overall, the design of the new Micromax stands out among the many faceless state employees, making the smartphone does not look cheap.
On the front panel distance from the ends to the display is symmetrical, above it there are light sensors and proximity, camera and speaker. Under the display there is nothing, the arrow keys in the smartphone virtual.

The device fits in the palm of your hand thanks to the frame made of soft plastic not tries to slip from the hands, and compact size allow easily handle him with one hand. The build quality is also no complaints, no squeaks or backlash was observed.
Five-inch IPS-display new products from Micromax has a resolution of 1280×720 pixels (HD), which gives a pixel density of 294 ppi. The screen quality is good, the brightness is high enough to comfortably use a smartphone outdoors on a Sunny day, good color and clarity. The device supports adaptive brightness — the backlight level of the display automatically adjusts to ambient light. But the oleophobic coating on the protective glass, unfortunately, no.
If you are not satisfied with the default settings of the images on the screen, you can adjust contrast, color and other settings in the firmware from MiraVision, or use one of the presets.
Micromax running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Radically change the appearance of the system or to install your own shell, the manufacturer did not, restricted to a slight modification of icons.
On the smartphone pre-installed a number of third-party programs, including 2GIS and applications from “Yandex” and “Bayon”. If these applications are not needed, you can remove them with standard tools. Otherwise — on Board the “pure” Android, which will appeal to those who don’t like the launchers from third-party developers.

This filling at a low enough price makes the device very strong public sector. The internal memory of the smartphone is 16 GB, it is available to the user about 9 GB.

Gaming performance was tested in Asphalt 8: Airborn, Godfire: Rise of Prometheus, World of Tanks: Blitz and Lara Croft: Relic Run. Of all the listed games A1 Canvas Juice Plus is not only managed Asphalt 8 — too heavy he was for a smartphone at maximum graphics settings, and set, for example, the average level of the game is not allowed. As for the other games, they can slow down in some situations (for some reason often on the menu), but the gameplay is not affected. The main camera of 8 MP was surprisingly high quality. On the gadget you can get very good pictures outside during the day and even in rooms with good lighting, if you hold it in your hands.

Despite the low price, Micromax Canvas Juice A1 Plus doesn’t disappoint on any performance or appearance. It’s a smartphone for those who are not willing to pay a lot for the gadget, but do not want to buy faceless brick. For those who don’t mind occasionally playing on the smartphone, and the device was not been exhausted by the end of the day. If you add all these “wishlist” of nice things like a fingerprint scanner and separate slots for SIM-cards and memory cards, you get almost the perfect budget — price Canvas Juice A1 Plus is about 8990 rubles.
