Sharp has announced the most affordable 8K-TV
Standard 4K barely became widespread among users and content creators, but Sharp has already found him a more advanced replacement. At IFA 2017, the Japanese manufacturer showed a 70-inch 8K TV Aquos, whose resolution is 16 times higher than the usual Full HD. The company called the image with a new “realistic” and “with details that may not catch with the naked eye.”
8K Sharp Aquos TV supports Dolby Vision HDR and BDA-HDR. However, users may face with the lack of content now broadcasting in 8K is only Japanese channel NHK. Sharp has promised that soon will release new compatible products and form the ecosystem of the receivers, cameras and other gadgets.
Sharp plans to sell a 70-inch 8K TV later this year in the Chinese and Japanese markets, and in February of 2018, the device will debut in Taiwan. In Europe the novelty will be released as a PC monitor, codenamed LV-70X500E and will be in stores in may. The manufacturer has not announced the cost of the TV, but close to the company sources say a price of about $9 000. We will remind, last 8K monitor Sharp sold with a price tag of over $100 000.
