The creators of Clash of Kings will release a mobile game in the universe Call of Duty
Call of Duty series is one of the most popular and successful personal computers and consoles. Since 2003, the company Activision every year pleases the fans of the new game and even started to produce reissues of the best parts of the series, like last year’s release of Modern Warfare Remastered. This week Activision made an agreement with a Chinese Studio Elex is about to release a mobile game in the universe Call of Duty. The name of the future of the project and any details are being kept a closely guarded secret.
According to the contract, Elex needs to release a mobile game in the universe Call of Duty for three years, but the agreement may be extended for another year. The Studio will not pay license fees for the use of the franchise Call of Duty. Moreover, development costs, and the profit is divided between the Elex and Activision in half.
Note that the Call of Duty series has repeatedly called for the mobile platform. We saw zombie shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies, tactical shooter Call of Duty: Strike Team and strategy Call of Duty: Heroes.
As for the Studio, Elex, it is one of the largest Chinese developers of mobile games. Among the most known projects of the company – a Clash of Kings, Age of Warring Empire, Magic Rush: Heroes and Total War: King’s Return.
