Last year when Lenovo introduced the smartphone Moto Z with support for plug-in modules, many reacted to this idea with skepticism. Often these solutions lack support among third-party developers, but Lenovo intends to actively promote modular concept. For smartphones Moto Z released a lot of modules from partners, the company announced several projects, and recently was presented a large number of different concepts. One of the projects called the Edge Force third-party developers have already got to the crowdfunding site Indiegogo. This is a module with a customizable led light.
Edge Force something like a computer mouse Razer backlit Chroma. It also has a led panel on the perimeter, able to Shine with all colors of the rainbow. The main idea of the developers was that installed in smartphones indicators for missed events simply useless, when the device lies on the table face down, or simply is at the other end of the room. Edge Force during a call or notification lights around the perimeter, and the ability to customize the color and glow effects for each separate app will enable you to immediately find out what it is. For example, if you are watching a movie, have lunch or just work, then you will be able to the color of the glow to understand the importance of the call or notification and to decide whether to be distracted and answer the phone.
Edge Force is available in two versions. In the original there is an additional battery capacity of 2,000 mAh, which allows to significantly increase the autonomy of the Moto Z, and Edge Air is equipped with an induction coil for wireless charging smartphone.
