Ukrainian headset for masking sound Hushme took to Kickstarter


Ukrainian startups embraced the thirst for action. Following the “smart” blinds SolarGaps on Kickstarter start another project from Ukraine — Bluetooth headset Hushme that the developers showed during the CES 2017. The gadget is designed to protect user conversations from prying ears, muting the voice of the speaker or completely masking it for other sounds.

The gadget is designed to protect user conversations from prying ears, muting the voice of the speaker or completely masking it for other sounds.
How it works

The Ah-HS-PSS-fir!
With the help of magnets Hushme is fixed on the face, covering the lower part of it. Soft lining special sound absorbing paint from the inside of the mask help even in passive mode to decrease the volume to the level of a whisper to the man at a distance of meters could not make out anything. By pressing the button on the case to turn on the active camouflage, in which the four external dynamics begin to make different sounds. The mobile app allows you to select between nature sounds and other options like the breath of Darth Vader and the language of the droid R2D2. The volume of the background noise varies in accordance with the speaker’s voice, and if the user pauses, the headset will shut up.
Cushioned pad Hushme is easily removable for cleaning. The gadget can be used as a normal wireless headset for listening music, but the battery life is not reported. The mobile app is available for Android and iOS. The team has working prototypes, and now the developers are raising money to start production.
The issue price

“Early birds” managed to grab Hushme for only $130, and now the price headset starts at $150. The startup plans to raise at least $70 000 (20% of the amount already), and the campaign will last nearly a month. According to the developers, the device is designed for office workers who don’t want to interrupt his colleagues, gamers, arrange night raids, and all those who want to maintain the privacy of conversation in public places. However, not everyone decides to go out with the “muzzle”.
In case of success, delivery Hushme will begin in December 2017.
