Revenue HTC in September grew by 117%
The company HTC has reported a more than doubling of revenue in September 2017, compared with August. Of traditional reports about the sales it turned out that the company bailed out of 6.51 billion Taiwan dollars (214,41 million us), which improved the result of the previous month by almost 117%. However, in annual terms, sales fell more than 30%.
Reviewers DigiTimes attributed the September growth of the company with the recently introduced smartphones Google Pixel 2, for the Assembly which meets HTC.
As noted by industry sources, Pixel 2 is unlikely to help improve the performance of the shipments of HTC smartphones since this model will primarily be sold in the United States.
If we talk about the quarterly sales in the third quarter, revenue totaled 15.7 billion Taiwan dollars, which is 2.6% less compared to the previous three-month period. From the beginning of 2017, the manufacturer earned 46,37 billion Taiwan dollars (519,3 million U.S. dollars), and thus lagged behind the figures of a year ago by 17%.
Recall, we recently told you that HTC U11 Plus has obtained the certificate of 3C.
