Startup from South Korea has developed a contactless smart lock Bisecu for bike in the form of a small cylinder mounted on the front wheel. For opening and closing must be a smartphone owner. Management Bisecu is via Bluetooth using a mobile app. Moreover, the user does not even need the extra time to go to the app to control the gadget: it is enough to move away from his “iron horse”, as the signal disappears, causing the front wheel locks automatically. By the way, open it in the same way, it is only the owner approach the bike.
The developers also installed in the device the alarm, warning of a theft attempt. It is only the thief, Suprematism not wearing a bike chain, take the “production”, so immediately the alarm sound volume level of 100 decibels, almost like a car. There’s any hijacker as the wind will blow.
The developers have taken care of what to do if the smartphone runs out of power at the most inopportune moment. In such a situation, simply type in the appropriate lock code combination. But that’s not all – there’s an extra bonus: the app will calculate how many revolutions did the wheel and give information on the movement speed and covered distance. In addition, it will inform that lithium-polymer battery that runs this wonderful castle begins to discharge. However, this situation will arise only twice a year as a charge for lock Bisecu will last about 6 months.
In the second quarter of 2017 Bisecu developers are going to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. Until they announced how much it will cost a great tool, but according to preliminary information, the price will vary from $100-150.
