Technically, an artificial island will be a design integrated from 87 triangular sections of various sizes, made of steel and concrete. The area of this island is approximately 3 square kilometres. The model, which is tested, is made of polystyrene and wood and has dimensions of 6 meters by 8 meters. The tests are carried out in closed water, which imitates the wave of 15 meters high and strong wind gusts. The developers emphasize that this concept may become relevant for crowded modern cities, as well as the basis for the location of floating plants that produce electricity in various alternative ways.
