All Three Galaxy S11 Flagships May Include 48MP Telephoto Cameras

A well-known tipster, Ice Universe, has just released some new info regarding the Samsung Galaxy S11 series camera setups. He says that all three Galaxy S11 handsets will include 48MP telephoto cameras.

He specifically mentioned every single phone that is expected to launch. So, just to be clear, the Galaxy S11, S11e, and S11+ are all expected to include 48MP telephoto cameras.

All Galaxy S11 phones will include a 48MP telephoto camera, not just the ‘Plus’ model

A month ago, a rumor surfaced claiming that the Galaxy S11+ will include a 48-megapixel telephoto camera. Well, it seems like that telephoto camera is not reserved only for the ‘Plus’ model.

In addition to that 48-megapixel camera, the Galaxy S11 series will include a rather interesting main camera. Well, at least the Galaxy S11 and S11+ will, as we’re still not sure if the Galaxy S10e variant will ship with Samsung’s new sensor.

Samsung is rumored to include a brand new 108-megapixel camera inside the Galaxy S11 and S11+. That will not be the Bright HMX ISOCELL sensor that Samsung made for Xiaomi, at least according to rumors.

Samsung is expected to include that very same sensor size inside its S11 flagships, but with some benefits. The company, allegedly, decided to make a brand new sensor for the S11 series. So, you can expect an ISOCELL sensor to be included.

Samsung’s new flagships could arrive on February 18

All three Galaxy S11 handsets are expected to launch in February next year. A recent rumor suggested that they will launch on February 18, along with the Galaxy Fold 2. That has not been confirmed yet, though.

Samsung will almost certainly be looking to release all those phones prior to MWC 2020. Truth be said, that February 18 release date does seem to be accurate, but we’ll see.

All three Galaxy S11 handsets will be made out of metal and glass. They will include a centered display camera setup at the top of the display, and thin bezels as well.

The Galaxy S11 series is also said to sport curved display. Even the Galaxy S11e will include a curved display, not a flat one like its predecessor.

Speaking of displays, they will be considerably larger than on the Galaxy S10 series. These three phones will also offer a higher display aspect ratio (20:9), and larger batteries as well.

Android 10 will come pre-installed on all three phones, along with Samsung’s One UI 2 skin. We’re also expecting to see in-display fingerprint scanners on all three devices.
