ASUS Has The Perfect Gaming Monitor For Your PS5 & Xbox Series X

ASUS is consistently pushing the envelope in gaming hardware with its ROG brand products, and one of the latest is a new gaming monitor that’s perfect for your PS5 and/or Xbox Series X.

The ROG Swift PG32UQ is a 32-inch gaming monitor with a high refresh rate and the unique yet familiar design of the ROG brand. It’s also one of handful of different ROG products that were announced at CES 2021 this year.

While not as large as a TV, the new ROG Swift gaming monitor is a great option for PS5 owners who have their console setups on or near their desk as opposed to their living room. And because the screen isn’t extremely large the faster refresh rate should look exceptionally crisp during high-action gameplay.

You can’t hook your PS5 up to ASUS’ new ROG Swift gaming monitor just yet

You may have already gotten your hands on a PS5 or Xbox Series X. But you can’t pair that with this monitor just yet. ASUS is looking to launch the monitor sometime in Q2 of this year.

Q2 stretches from March to June though. And it’s barely the middle of January. So there will be a little bit of a wait to purchase this for your setup. As for cost, ASUS has stayed rather quiet on that particular detail as well.

If your mind is made up anyway, your money will get you a 32-inch IPS panel with a 1ms moving picture response time and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

Which means it’ll support the 120Hz gameplay on next-gen consoles when there’s enough content to actually take advantage of it. On top of all that, this is a 4K panel with two HDMI 2.1 ports. So you’ll be able to play games at pretty high resolution as well.

G-Sync compatible for the PC gamers

If you don’t game on console or you just simply play games on your PC more often, this monitor is G-Sync compatible.

It also utilizes ASUS’ Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync technology to help with the more fluid visuals. Basically your gameplay should be nice and seamless. Provided your PC hardware also supports this quality of gameplay.

It also supports HDR 600 and Display Stream Compression for noticeably smaller amounts of data use for UHD streams without a noticeable drop in the quality of the visuals. The monitor will only come in the one color, which is Black, but it does come with a large RGB ROG logo on the back that does change colors.
