Deal: Lenovo’s 8-inch Smart Display Is $99 At Walmart Right Now – November 2018
Walmart is currently selling the Lenovo 8-inch Smart Display for just $99 which is good for around $100 off of its regular price (aka 50-percent off). This marks the lowest price ever for the Lenovo Smart Display, and it really makes it a great deal for those looking for a smart display. Looking at the Black Friday ads that have already leaked, this Smart Display isn’t going to drop any lower for Black Friday, so you’re going to want to take advantage of this one before it is gone. You can order it online and have it shipped to your home, or have it set aside at your local Walmart store to pick up today. Of course, that may vary based on where you live.
The Lenovo Smart Display comes in two sizes: 8 and 10 inches. This is the 8-inch model which is a bit smaller, but still works just as great. It is essentially a Google Home with a display. There’s a 8-inch HD display here, which may sound pretty low-end, but it looks really good. And considering it’s not going to be as close to your eyes as a smartphone or a tablet, that’s not an issue here. It has a speaker on the left side, which does get decently loud, but it’s not as loud as something like the Google Home Max. There is a camera here, which you can slide the shutter over to block it altogether. The camera is used to see if there is anyone in the room. If there is, the display will play pictures, otherwise, it will just turn off and save energy. With the Lenovo Smart Display, you can do anything that Google Assistant is able to do. One of the great things here is that you can ask Google Assistant for sports highlights for your favorite team, and it can show you right there on its screen, which is nice. It can also give you the weather, which a Google Home can also do, but seeing it visually is definitely a nice change here, as you can see what the next few days will be like.
