Diablo Immortal Gets An Early Release On Mobile

Diablo Immortal has gotten an early release on Android and iOS devices this morning, so if you wanted to jump in and get a head start, now is the time. Blizzard officially announced the release date of Diablo Immortal earlier this year, noting that it would drop on June 2. That’s still the official launch date for the game. However, Blizzard also confirmed last week that the game would start propagating on devices as early as June 1.

There are some caveats to that though. The early propagation isn’t going to impact all players. For example, you may find that the game is available for you to install but not for your friend(s). Also worth mentioning is that if you pre-registered for the game and had the box for auto installation checked, it may already be on your device.

Diablo Immortal doesn’t get an early release on PC

While the game is showing up this morning for players on both Android and iOS platforms, it won’t show up for PC until tomorrow. Blizzard said that the game would start to show up early for mobile devices only. This has to do with the way that the Google Play Store and App Store work, and is completely out of Blizzard’s control at this point.

The PC launch however, goes through battle net. And Blizzard is sticking to official date for that platform. Keep in mind that some mobile players may still not see the game show up on their respective stores until the official launch date of June 2. In which case, you’ll be able to play the game tomorrow.

Servers are already live too, so you should be able to pick one and dive right in. As a suggestion you may also want to pick the server with the lowest ping. Although, there is also no cross-server play. So make sure that you pick the same server as any friends you’re wanting to play with.

Keep a lookout for shop credits

If you were in the latest closed beta test that ended earlier this year and spent any money in the shop, you should have credits coming your way as a reimbursement. These will be used to pay for anything you buy in the shop before any real money is spent. You don’t have to do anything to claim the credits either. They will automatically show up as long as you’re using the same account to login with the launch as you did with the beta.
