Galaxy Note10 Pro Will Not Include 45W Charging After All: Rumor

The Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10 Pro will not offer the rumored 45W charging, after all, it seems. This information comes from Max Weinbach, a well-known tipster, as he says that Samsung will include 25W charging in the Galaxy Note10 Pro.

Mr. Weinbach did not mention the regular Galaxy Note10, but it’s safe to assume that it will not offer faster charging than the Pro variant, in fact, the Galaxy Note10 is expected to ship with the exact same charging tech as the Galaxy Note10 Pro.

The source did mention that Samsung is planning to include 45W charging in one of its devices, in one of its mid-range phones, the upcoming Galaxy A90. That’s a rather odd move by the company, as one would think that such fast charging will end up in the company’s flagship, but it seems like Samsung will use the Galaxy A90 to pilot its 45W charging.

That actually means that the Galaxy S11 series may offer 45W wired charging next year, as it is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2020. There is still no info regarding wireless charging, but it would be nice if Samsung included faster wireless charging in the Galaxy Note10 series.

Some of you may be disappointed to hear that 45W fast charging will not be included in the Galaxy Note10 series, but 25W charging is still a considerable improvement compared to what Samsung has been including for years now.

The Galaxy S10 series offers 15W wired charging, so 25W charging in comparison will make a lot of people quite happy. For comparison, the Galaxy S10 series includes 15W wireless charging, and 9W reverse wireless charging. Samsung can, and should, include faster wireless charging in the Galaxy Note10 series, but we’ll see if that will happen.

Do note that all of this is just a rumor at this point, it is coming from a reliable source, but still, it’s just a rumor. The Galaxy Note10 rumors have been popping up for quite some time now, and we’re still more than two months away from the Galaxy Note10 announcement, at least if Samsung intends to stick to its release cycle.

The Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10 Pro will be the two devices that Samsung will announce during its next Unpacked event, but both devices are rumored to arrive in two variants, both 4G and 5G models will be available, it seems.

The Galaxy Note10 Pro is rumored to include a larger display, and a ToF camera on the back, but other than that, the phone will be identical to the Galaxy Note10 in terms of the design. Both devices leaked in renders quite recently, and those leaks suggested that they will include a single front-facing camera at the top of the display, and that camera will be centered.

Both phones will be made out of metal and glass, and both will sport a curved display, just like their predecessor. An all-new S Pen stylus will be a part of the package, but a 3.5mm headphone jack will not, it seems. Samsung is allegedly planning to remove a 3.5mm headphone jack from its flagship devices with the Galaxy Note10 series, as the Galaxy S10 series did include one.
