Galaxy S10 Lite Specs Shared By Tipster, ‘tOIS’ Explained

Following the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite information that both we and Roland Quandt shared recently, the tipster just revealed some Galaxy S10 Lite specs.

The Galaxy S10 Lite is also expected to arrive soon, just like the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. We still do not know when will that happen, but it may launch before the end of 2019. The source even suggests it may launch in Europe “in a few days”.

Leaked specs suggest that the Galaxy S10 Lite will be quite a powerful phone

Now, according to Mr. Quandt, the Galaxy S10 Lite (SM-G770F), will feature a 6.7-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) Super AMOLED display. That display will feature a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, in case you were wondering.

The phone will include a centered display camera hole, just like the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. The Snapdragon 855 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the phone, even in Europe, it seems.

This phone will also include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Interestingly enough, you will be able to expand that storage via a microSD card, it seems.

What’s interesting when it comes to this phone’s camera setup is the fact that it will feature more cameras than the Galaxy S10e. The phone is said to include three cameras on the back, and one on the front.

The device will include a 48-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture) sensor on the back, as its main camera. What’s interesting here is the fact that it will sport ‘tOIS’ aka Tilt OIS. What is ‘Tilt OIS’? Well, it’s essentially a more advanced OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).

Gyro data and other sensors will allow the camera lens to be tilted a few degrees in all directions. That way, the camera will compensate for the movement of the phone. We still don’t know if this will be a noticeable improvement or not, it remains to be seen.

In addition to that 48-megapixel camera, two more units will be placed on the back. The source suggests that we’ll get a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture), and a 5-megapixel macro camera (f/2.4 aperture). A 32-megapixel unit (f/2.2 aperture) is expected to be included on the front.

The source also notes that a 4,500mAh battery will be a part of this package. The phone will support Super Fast Charging 2.0 with up to 45W charging speeds via Type-C USB port.

The phone will be available in Black, White, and Blue color variants, and it will be 8.1mm thick. It will be quite thin considering how large its battery will be.

The Galaxy S10 Lite will be priced at €679.99 in Southern Europe, according to the source. In other parts of Europe it could be €10 more affordable, or more expensive, it depends. It’s also worth noting that it will ship with Android 10, and Samsung’s One UI 2.0 skin. As you can see, the Galaxy S10 Lite will be quite a powerful phone, if its specs are any indication.
