Here’s How You Can Start Watching The Halo TV Show For Free

The Halo TV show is fast approaching and if you weren’t already aware, there’s an easy way you can watch the show for free. At least, the start of the show. And chances are if you’re a fan of Halo, you may be a fan of Xbox and its most valued service, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

If that statement rings true with you, then you’re in luck. Earlier this week, Microsoft announced that all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get a free 30-day trial of Paramount+, which means they start watching the Halo TV show for free.

That being said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind with this free trial and the show.

You won’t be able to watch the entire season of the Halo TV show for free

Since the free trial of Paramount+ only lasts for 30 days, you won’t be able to stream the entire first season of the series for free. Paramount has already confirmed that episodes for the series will be released on a weekly basis, and there are nine of them in total.

So that means no binging the entire season without having to pay for the Paramount+ subscription. You will be able to watch the first five episodes though. Then you’ll simply have to renew your sub once the 30-day trial is over. There is however a way for you to potentially squeeze more episodes out of the trial.

Depending on how long Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have to claim the 30-day Paramount+ perk, you could wait until the last possible moment to claim it. Then you get 30 days from that point and there should be more episodes out by then. More or less letting you extend you viewing capabilities by at least a couple of episodes.

You can claim the Paramount+ 30-day trial starting March 23

The Halo show will start streaming next week on Thursday, March 24. But you can claim your Paramount+ 30-day trial starting on March 23. The day before. If you claim right away, then you should be able to watch the first five episodes before paying for the Paramount+ subscription.

As mentioned above though, you may want to check and see how long you have to claim that perk. If for example you have two weeks to claim it, then you can claim it on the last day and you just gained yourself two more episodes. That does mean you’d have to wait to start watching the Halo TV show. But it’s a small price to pay if you get more episodes out of the deal. Check out the latest trailer for Halo TV series below.
