How To Turn On Dark Mode On Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

Dark Mode is probably one of the most useful features that smartphones have added in the past several years. It’s different on different phones, surprisingly. So today, we’re going to show you how you can turn it on and off on your Galaxy Z Fold 4.

On the Galaxy Z Fold 4, you are able to turn on Dark Mode from the Quick Settings. As well as keep it on all the time. Or set it to a schedule. Typically, I have it on a schedule, so that when it’s dark outside, my phone is on dark mode. That way when I do go outside I can actually see my phone. Dark mode with direct sunlight makes things almost impossible to see.

We’re going to show you how to do all of that here in this tutorial.

Now, you’ll see Dark Mode at the very top. It’ll show you light vs dark mode, and then an option for dark mode settings. You can choose to just tap on Dark Mode, or tap on the settings.

The Dark Mode settings will allow you to have dark mode turn on as a schedule. Most commonly, people will have dark mode turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. This is a good way to use it, as it’ll be tough to see your phone when it’s in dark mode and you’re outside in sunlight.

Adding Dark Mode to Quick Settings

You could also quickly turn on and off Dark Mode from the Quick Settings in the notification pulldown, without jumping into settings.

Just pull down the notification shade. Make sure to swipe down twice so you are seeing all of the quick settings.

By default, Dark Mode should be right there in the middle. If not, you can tap on the + sign at the bottom and then drag-and-drop it to where you want it.

Now just tap on that icon and it’ll turn on dark mode, or tap it again to turn it off. It’s just that easy.
