Jabra’s Newest Pair Of Truly Wireless Headphones Are Perfect For Working Out

Jabra has announced a new pair of true wireless (TWS) earbuds at CES 2022 called the Jabra Elite 4 Active. The pair arrives as a successor to last year’s Elite 3. The new buds bring several improvements over their predecessors and see a reasonable price increase.

Jabra Elite 4 Active specifications and features

To start with, the Jabra Elite 4 Active offer active noise cancellation (ANC) for an immersive listening experience. Featuring 6mm speakers, the buds get a customizable equalizer via the Jabra Sound+ app so you can tune the audio to your liking. They support both AAC and aptX Bluetooth codecs.

The new buds also support Spotify Tap playback on compatible devices, allowing you to quickly play your favorite music. And should you need to listen to your surrounding, there’s the adjustable HearThrough technology that will let the outside noise in at the tap of a button, without having to remove the buds from your ear.

Jabra gives you two years of warranty against failure from dust and water. The buds measure 20.85 x 20.49 x 27.3 mm in dimension and weigh five grams (0.176oz) each.

Jabra has equipped its latest pair of TWS earbuds with four microphones. The built-in mics are protected by a special mesh covering to reduce wind noise. This will ensure voice clarity during calls, even if you’re in a noisy environment.

The Jabra Elite 4 Active boasts a strong battery life as well. The company promises up to seven hours of playtime on a single charge. With the additional power supply you get from the charging case, the buds are good for up to 28 hours. Moreover, Jabra is offering fast charging support as well. Ten minutes of charging is enough to ensure up to an hour of continuous playback. There’s no wireless charging here though. You need to charge it over a USB Type-C connection.
