Lilac Purple Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Shown Off In New Leak

A new image said to be of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in Lilac Purple has now leaked online. The image comes from the Netherlands-based NieuweMobiel and is said to be an official render. This is the same outlet that recently released renders of the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). In terms of the Galaxy Note 9 shown here, the report picks up on the August 24 date shown on the phone, suggesting that may be when the phone from Samsung becomes available to buy.

The image is in line with previous images that have come through showcasing a design that is very similar to the Galaxy Note 8. With the exception of the re-positioning of the fingerprint sensor and a larger sensor in the two-camera module on the back of the device. Both points that have been suggested before. The report also suggests the side buttons are positioned slightly higher than on the Note 8. As for the color, this image does seem to confirm a Lilac Purple Galaxy Note 9 is on the way. This is not the first time this color has been mentioned, however, as previously it was suggested Samsung was working on at least five color options, consisting of Coral Blue, Lilac Purple, Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, and Titanium Gray, although some of these colors might be slightly revised this time. For example, the Coral Blue may be a darker blue. On the topic of colors, the Midnight Black version leaked earlier today in actual photo form.

Over the last few days and weeks the view of the Galaxy Note 9 has started to become a lot clearer, which is probably not that surprising considering the launch event is scheduled for August 9. For example, it is highly expected the new Samsung stylus-touting phone will come with a minimum of 6GB RAM, a minimum of 64GB storage, and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. Pricing is thought to start around $960 and as mentioned in this latest report – August 24 is tentatively the date when the device is expected to go on general sale in multiple regions, including the US. With pre-orders starting at some point between then and the August 9 unveil date.
