The T-Mobile owned MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) is offering a brand new Motorola One 5G Ace at just $19.99 if you switch to the carrier. Additional sales tax and activation fee will apply.

The Motorola One 5G Ace has an MSRP or list price of $399.99 and a regular retail price of $279.99 at Metro. So you’re saving a whopping $260 if you get this phone and switch to the prepaid brand’s network.

You don’t have to sign any contract neither the carrier is forcing you to buy a particular expensive 5G plan. However, you do have to physically go to a brick-and-mortar store and verify your ID to eligible for this offer. You cannot buy this phone online.

Metro offers discounts of $10, $20, and $30 on each additional line in the three plans respectively.

Motorola One 5G Ace specifications

The Motorola One 5G Ace is Metro’s first 5G-enabled smartphone. Launched last month, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. It gets 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via a micro SD card. The phone also comes in a 4GB + 64GB memory configuration but T-Mobile isn’t selling it. The carrier’s version of the device also boasts an IP54 certification.

The Motorola One 5G Ace sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a centered punch-hole cutout that houses a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. There’s a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

The new Motorola phone runs Android 10 out of the box. It packs a 5,000mAh battery that charges at 15W speeds over a USB Type-C port. A 3.5mm headphone jack, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.12, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS are part of the package as well.
