Open-World RPG Marvel Future Revolution Enters Global Launch

After a long wait, the global launch of Marvel Future Revolution is finally here. The game is being released for both Android and iOS devices, and is an open-world action RPG. It sort of acts as a sequel to Marvel Future Fight. Which was also an action RPG but not in an open-world setting.

The game also starts with a lot less heroes than you had with the previous game. To kick things off, players can choose from eight different characters to start their journey to save earth. Having said that, you won’t be limited to just one character. While the character you choose at the beginning is who you start out with, you can actually play as all eight heroes.

Over time, Netmarble also plans to add more content to the game that will expand the roster of playable characters. Although, the studio declined to comment on who those heroes (or villains?) would be. Nor would it mention when any of that content would be added to the game. For now, players can choose between Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Star Lord, Storm, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and Captain Marvel.

The Marvel Future Revolution launch places the game in 240 countries

When Netmarble says global, it means global. The game is available now to download from the Play Store and the App Store in 240 different countries worldwide. Including the US.

While the game is available starting today, some players have been able to pre-load the game since earlier this week to prepare. Marvel Future Revolution is free-to-play, so expect micro transactions. Though as we stated in our Everything You Need To Know post, these don’t seem to be very aggressive.
