OUKITEL Y4800 & Redmi Note 7 Provide Similar AnTuTu Results

The OUKITEL Y4800 is the company’s very first phone in the Y series of device. That handset was announced quite recently, and the company has now decided to compare it to the Redmi Note 7. On top of that, OUKITEL also released a video in which it runs AnTuTu on the OUKITEL Y4800, and shows you how the device performs by running several games on it.

Initial leaks of the OUKITEL Y4800 suggested that it will ship with the Helio P60 processor from MediaTek, but the company included the Helio P70 SoC in the end. The P70 is an upgrade over the P60, and it’s actually approximately as powerful as the Snapdragon 660 that is fueling the Redmi Note 7.

The OUKITEL Y4800 actually beats the Redmi Note 7 in a total score on AnTuTu, and also in the GPU score, while it loses in the CPU score category. The OUKITEL Y4800 managed to score 142,608 in total on AnTuTu, while it was able to hit 57,327 points in the CPU category, and 34,462 points in the GPU segment.

The Redmi Note 7, on the other hand, scored 141,390 in total, while it managed to score 64,339 in the CPU category, and 30,613 in the GPU segment. As you can see in the provided video down below, the OUKITEL Y4800 is actually able to run games without a problem.

The OUKITEL Y4800 actually looks quite sleek as well. The phone has fairly thin bezels, though a “chin” is included below its display, and it also sports a teardrop display notch. The phone includes two cameras on the back, those two cameras are vertically-aligned, and an LED flash is placed below them. A fingerprint scanner is also located on the back of this device.

The OUKITEL Y4800 features a 6.3-inch fullHD+ display, while it comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on the device, while a 4,000mAh battery is also included in the package, along with 9V/2A charging.

This smartphone also supports facial scanning, while it has a 48-megapixel main camera on the back, just like the Redmi Note 7. OUKITEL also says that the phone can produce really solid images, and that the image quality is similar to what the Redmi Note 7 can provide you with.

OUKITEL is currently hosting a giveaway on its official website, as it is giving away three Y4800 units to lucky winners. If you would like to participate, we’ve included a link down below. Those of you who are interested in purchasing the OUKITEL Y4800 should know that the phone is still not available, but it will be next month. The company has announced that the device will become available in mid-July, and that it will cost $199.99.
