Pick Up The Budget-Friendly, 3-Day Nokia G10 Starting Today In The US

US-based buyers can pick up the Nokia G10, announced back in April, direct from the company as of today. The HMD-built handset is one of several launched this year and is intended to revitalize the budget segment. Starting with three core tenets — namely, long battery life and a strong update cycle for both security and OS versions.

What’s special about the now US-ready Nokia G10?

As noted already, battery life is going to be a strong selling point for Nokia G10. Not least of all because, according to HMD Global, the gadget will last as long as three days in between charges, thanks to AI-powered battery management.

The company has also set a high standard for updates, despite the low entry cost. Specifically, Nokia G10 is promised to receive as many as three years of security updates and two years of Android OS updates. But that’s hardly the only thing that this device is bringing to the table.

For starters, the Nokia G10 is a 6.5-inch handset with an HD+ resolution. That’s a 20:9 ratio panel and comes complete with a waterdrop-style “v-notch,” accented by an 8-megapixel selfie camera. A 13-megapixel triple-camera resides on the back, paired with Macro and Depth sensors. Under the hood, this version of the handset packs 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage as well as a dual SIM configuration. That’s backing up a Mediatek G25 SoC, with eight A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz.

A dedicated Google Assistant hardware key, Bluetooth 5.0, power-mounted fingerprint sensor, Android 11, IPX2 rating for dust and water resistance, and 3.5mm audio combo jack are all included as part of the package as well.

Pricing and availability

HMD Global has set the price of the Nokia G10, available in Night and Dusk colorations, at just $149. And that will be sold, at least to start, direct from the dedicated Nokia sales site. Buyers will also be able to pick the device up “soon” at other “major retailers.”

In addition to the Nokia G10, HMD Global also revealed US availability for the Nokia 1.4. That Android handset is available in a clean grey Charcoal color on Amazon starting at $119. And availability for the 6.51-inch gadget will spread to Target in “soon” as well.
