RedMagic 8 Pro with transparent backplate goes global
The RedMagic 8 Pro series originally launched at the end of last year. Their global models launched a couple of weeks later, in mid-January. What we didn’t see in global markets until now, is the RedMagic 8 Pro with a transparent backplate. That variant has the ‘Titanium’ branding, and it now launched globally.
The RedMagic 8 Pro with a transparent backplate goes global
This is arguably the best-looking version of the device. That transparent backplate goes great with the silver frame, and the fact the phone has a clear canvas up front. The RedMagic 8 Pro has an under-display camera, and extremely thin bezels.
The phone’s frame is flat, and you’ll notice three cameras on the back. This ‘Titanium’ version truly does differ from its siblings thanks to the see-through backplate. The phone’s RGB fan is visible as well, thanks to this backplate.
This version of the phone comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. If you’re interested, you can grab it for $799 as we speak. We’ll leave the purchase link down below.
The rest of the specs are the same as the other variants offer. A 6.8-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is included. That panel offers an extremely high touch sampling rate of 960Hz.
It has advanced cooling, “shoulder keys”, and a 6,000mAh battery
The company included an ICE 11.0 magic cooling system with a built-in fat, and full-through air duct. It also has a 3D ice-level dual-pump 2,068mm3 super large VC liquid cooling. There is graphene included under the display, and up to 10 layers of cooling materials.
The phone has “shoulder keys”, and ultra-liner stereo speakers. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 fuels this handset, while a 6,000mAh battery is included. The phone does support 80W wired charging.
A 50-megapixel main camera is backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone weighs 228 grams, and measures 163.98 x 76.35 x 8.9mm.
