Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series Renders & Key Specifications Leaked



Samsung is going to have quite a busy first half of 2022. On one hand, the company is working on the upcoming launch event of its 2022 flagships, the Galaxy S22 series, and later in the coming months, it will be occupied with the launch of Galaxy M-series, A-series smartphones.

Along with the Galaxy S22 lineup, the company is also looking for the launch of the Galaxy Tab S8 series, which will be the premium tablet offering from the company, at least according to the current rumors and leaks.

While the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra tablets are expected to launch sometime in Q2 of 2022, some major leaks have surfaced about the tablets, revealing crucial specifications. The leaks also reveal the design renders of the tablets.

According to a new report by WinFuture, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and the Galaxy Tab S8+ will feature a dual-camera setup on the back. Both tablets will be equipped with a 13MP main camera and a 6MP ultrawide lens.

On the front for selfies, there will be a 12MP lens, on the right edge of both the Galaxy Tab S8, when held vertically. Talking about the premium Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, it will sport a notch at the front for dual 12MP selfie shooters.

All Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC

The Tab S8 Ultra is also speculated to come with Samsung’s Auto Framing feature. It will notably keep the subject in the frame when they move around during a video call using pan and zoom.

As per the leaks, Samsung is rumored to offer the Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+ with 8GB of RAM, which will be coupled with 128/256GB of onboard storage. The microSD card slot is also expected to be available.

The Tab S8 Ultra will be offered in 8/16GB RAM options and 128/512GB storage options. MicroSD card support will be available on the S8 Ultra as well.

The main difference between the Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+ is on the display. The vanilla Tab S8 will sport an 11-inch LTPS TFT display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Whereas, the Galaxy Tab S8+ will rock a 12.7-inch AMOLED panel with a WQXGA+ resolution and 120Hz high refresh rate. Coming to the higher-priced Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, it will come with a massive 14.6-inch WQXGA+ AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate display.

The leaks suggest that the Galaxy Tab S8 will come with an 8000 mAh battery, and the S8+ will have a 10090 mAh cell. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will feature an 11,200 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

On the software side, all three tablets will feature Android 12L One UI 4.1 out of the box. Other features include Samsung S-Pen, Wireless DeX, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and more.

Pricing of all three tablets has also surfaced online. The Galaxy Tab S8 is expected to cost between 680 and 900 Euros, while the S8+ may cost between 880 and 1110 Euros. Finally, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is rumored to be priced between 1040 and 1220+ Euros.
