Switch To Xfinity Mobile & Get Up To $250 For Your Trade-Ins

Xfinity Mobile is looking to entice people to switch over to its network, and to do so, it is offering up to $250 back for each phone you trade-in when you switch.

As usual, the newer the phone, the more you’ll get for that phone. So if you have a Galaxy S10 to trade in, it’ll get the full $250, while a Pixel 2 may not get that full $250 back. You can check on Xfinity Mobile’s website to see how much you’ll get for each smartphone that you trade-in.

Trading in a couple of smartphones can actually pay for your service for almost a year. This is because Xfinity Mobile is much cheaper than AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile or Verizon, it costs just $45 per line for unlimited data. Of course, you are going to need to buy a phone when you switch to Xfinity Mobile, unless you have an unlocked phone that will work with Xfinity Mobile – there aren’t many, most just iPhones. So do keep that in mind.

Xfinity Mobile’s pricing is pretty straightforward, you can pay by the gigabyte at $12 per GB, or get unlimited for $45. The per the gigabyte makes sense if you use less than 4GB per month. If you use 4GB or more, than unlimited will make better sense. And that’s all you pay for, with the exception of the monthly taxes that are due, based on where you live. This will only be a few dollars, depending on where you live. There’s no line access fee, unless you are not an Xfinity Internet customer.

So how does Xfinity Mobile work? Well, it works off of Verizon’s network and Xfinity hotspots that are found around the country. Your phone will use Xfinity hotspots whenever they are available. Comcast has 18 million hotspots around the country, that you’ll be able to connect to automatically. If you happen to be in an area that does not have a hotspot available, your phone will connect to Verizon’s network. Considering Verizon does have the most robust mobile network in the country, this is a really good backhaul for Xfinity Mobile.

There are a couple of “got you’s” with Xfinity Mobile, but they aren’t really dealbreakers. Firstly, after you hit 20GB, you will be slowed down. This is going to depend on where you are, and how many people are connected to that same tower. But if you are using more than 20GB per month, then you shouldn’t be using Xfinity Mobile anyways. Secondly, Xfinity Mobile also caps your video streaming to 720p. That’s not completely terrible, but it does help you use less data, so it takes longer to get to the 20GB threshold.

Xfinity Mobile is available to everyone, not just Xfinity Internet customers. You can check out Xfinity Mobile’s pricing and the phones that are available (they have a larger portfolio than you probably thought they did) on Xfinity Mobile, through the link down below. This deal to get $250 back for each phone you trade-in, will not last long – only until June 23.
