The Galaxy M13 Is Official, And It Has A Big Battery

Those of you who’ve been looking forward to Samsung’s next budget offering don’t need to wait much longer. We’ve been following leaks and rumors surrounding the Galaxy M13, and now, that phone is official.

The Galaxy M13 is official, and it has a few nice specs

For starters, the Galaxy M series is very budget-focused, so you shouldn’t expect any robust specs or standout features. Despite being so budget-focused, the phone that sold the most last year was an M series phone.

Thanks to Sam Mobile, we have some official specs for the Galaxy M13. This phone has a large 6.6-inch LCD display with a 1080p+ resolution. That’s not too bad for a budget phone, as a lot of premium phones come out with the same resolution.

When it comes to what’s powering the phone, the Galaxy M13 uses the Exynos 850 SoC. It has 4GB of RAM and two storage variants: 64GB and 128GB. Fortunately, there’s a microSD card slot to expand the memory further.

As for the camera, the specs look good on paper. This phone has a triple-camera setup on the rear. The main camera is a 50MP camera, and it’s accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, the Galaxy M13 has an 8MP selfie camera.

When it comes to other specs, this phone has a large 5,000mAh battery. This battery should last the user a full day with light to moderate usage, but that depends. When the user runs out, they’ll be able to charge it with 15W of power. Also, the Galaxy M13 will come with Android 12 out of the box and One UI 4.1. Also, this phone will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Price and availability are still up in the air

The official price for the Galaxy M13 hasn’t been revealed just yet. Last year’s Galaxy M12 launched for a starting price of $199, so we expect it to cost somewhere around this price. When it comes to availability, Sam Mobiles says that this phone will launch in Europe at least.
