Top 10 Best Android Casual Games – Ranked List

Potion maker

Concocting potions generally takes a lot of time and effort. It’s a common staple within many RPG games too. But Potion Maker is neither of those things.

It’s a simple to play casual game where you make potions of various types. There are multiple character unlocks and a relatively easy tutorial walkthrough that helps you become acquainted with the different things to do.

If you’re looking for something extremely casual that won’t be too involved, this is it.

Tape It Up!

The goal of this game is as simple as it gets really. Just as simple as making potions. You work in a factory that appears to ship a bunch of stuff and you have to make sure all the packages are taped up.

Sometimes you don’t have tape though and you still need to make sure that the packages are sealed. So you use whatever you have on hand. Maybe it’s bacon, maybe it’s an octopus who seals the boxes up with its ink.

There are tons of crazy ways to make sure all the boxes get taped up in time. You can also unlock more than 20 different characters (the things you use to tape up the packages), and over 40 unique themes. There are more than 50 levels to play through as well.

This may be one of the best casual games out there but that doesn’t mean that it has to be a quick game to complete. You should have no problem spending hours playing this whether it’s all in one sitting or over a good period of time.

And considering many people now have a lot more time on their hands for at least the next couple of weeks, now is a good time to sink your teeth into a good casual game.

Shiba Force

This game is extremely casual. It’s a simulation game where you send out Shiba dogs that are actually powerful heroes trying to save the city from monsters.

There are all kinds of different Shiba heroes to collect, and when you can, you send them out on missions. There are also mini games that you can play that help you acquire useful in-game items or currency.

You also only have so much you can do this game at any given time. If all your Shibas are out on missions then you’ll likely run out of things to do unless you continue to play the mini games.

But you can only do that for so long as well. So when we say this is extremely casual we mean it. It is also however a very easy game and it offers up cute graphics that are likely to be a hit with anyone that loves Shiba dogs.

If you fit into that category, download and give Shiba Force a try as it’s one of the best casual games out there.

Spies In Disguise: Agents On The Run

Spies In Disguise: Agents on The Run is an endless runner game that features characters from the popular film.

While the main gameplay will be like any other endless runner, which is trying as hard as you can to get as far as you can while you dodge obstacles, there are some unique elements that set the game apart.

For instance, the vehicle mode, which lets you play missions in a vehicle instead of running. You can also play as different characters from the film, though you will need to unlock the extra characters first.

There are gadgets to unlock as well, like gliders, and a collection of different challenges that will reward you with various in-game items, currencies and more.

If you enjoyed this film, then this is a great casual game to consider. It’s easy and fun and just addictive enough to keep you coming back to play more of it.

The Battle Cats

Unless you hate cats and games that center around them, then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t like this game.

It’s simple to play, involves a plethora of silly yet cute and off the wall cat types that you can use to battle against your enemies. There’s everything from giant, powerful Titan Cats to small miner cats that attack with picks.

Your goal as a cat army is to take over the world location by location and fend off against waves of enemies trying to fight back.

It features easy one-tap controls and a huge cat cannon that you can fire if your enemies are getting too close to you. The game features a side-scrolling view not too unlike Metal Slug, so if you’re familiar with that game at all then this might appeal to you.

Though this game isn’t really similar to Metal Slug in any other way. There are hundreds of stages to complete and three separate story mode campaigns to go through. So it’s safe to say that you’ll be able to spend a ton of time on this game before you’ve done everything in it.

With over ten million installs and a solid 4.5 star rating, players definitely agree that this is a wonderful little casual game to sink your teeth into. You have the time now more than likely, so why not check it out?

Tsuki Adventure

The art style alone should be enough to grab anyone’s attention because there is clear heart and soul put into the visuals for Tsuki Adventure.

More than the art though, if there’s one game that could signify the beauty of the simpler things in life, such as casual games and the simplicity that they usually evoke, it’s this one.

The theme is literally you (Tuski) moving from the hustle and bustle of the big city in Japan to the slower pace of the Japanese countryside to take over the family carrot farm.

The longer you’re there you grow to appreciate the simpler things in life along with the more easygoing lifestyle that you have there.

You’ll be able to grow and maintain the family carrot farm business, drink matcha with friends, and complete random tasks around the town for the other villagers.

There’s actually quite a bit to do in this game and there will be times that you will need to wait for stuff to finish (like carrots to grow) so you won’t have to worry with always having the game in your hands.

It is a super casual game after all.

Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector

Does it really get more casual than a game that is all about collecting different types of cats? Probably not. And that’s why this game is one of the best casual games you can get your hands on.

Playing the game is easy too. All you have to do to start is put snacks and toys out in your yard and watch the different cats arrive to eat up the snacks and play with the toys. Once they show up, the game logs the cats as ones you’ve collected in your extensive cat book.

There are over 40 different types of cats to collect, and tons of different toys and snacks for you to lay out for them. You can also expand your yard so it can fit more cats at any given time. The cats need space after all!

Each cat gets its own page in the cat book, and those pages contain all kinds of information about the cat like its name, its personality type, the power level, and how many visits it’s made to your house. Can you collect all the different cats and become the cat master? That’s the goal here.

Inbento

We’ve written about Inbento before as it was on one of our top games lists. It’s a also a very casual game to play and very relaxing thanks to the theme.

You’re a mother cat that is just trying to make sure her child has food for their meals every day. As you complete each puzzle and progress through the game, additional parts to the story unfold.

This is another game where there is no vocal dialogue for the story though. Everything is told through pictures and lighthearted, upbeat music. A picture tells a thousand words, and that saying really plays into things here as it couldn’t be more true.

There are over 120 puzzles to solve, each with varying levels of challenge. Your goal is create the bento boxes that match up with the picture before starting each stage.

There are also achievements. So if you really enjoy achievements then that will be an extra level of accomplishment for you to obtain as you take in the beautiful story and gameplay of Inbento.

Pocket World 3D

This is basically just a game about assembling different small-scale 3D models of various things. There are models of the Eiffel Tower, small Japanese buildings and shops, trains, the Golden Gate Bridge and more.

It’s also a puzzle game which means certain pieces can only be put in a specific spot and you’ll have to figure that out.

It’s a relaxing experience that allows you to create miniature little worlds in a way, by putting together the different models included in the game. It even includes 3D virtual environments that you can spin around 360-degrees to view things from every angle.

If you enjoy puzzles and have ever spent hours on end putting together models of any kind, then you’ll enjoy this one.

KOONGYA Draw Party

Stay away from this game if you absolutely hate fun. Otherwise, download it and give it a try because it’s a really well-made game that is extremely enjoyable.

Whether you’re playing with friends or just playing solo, KOONGYA Draw Party (which just launched today) is a great time. The game is simple to play and offers up only slightly challenging pun drawings that you will need to solve.

You’re given a collection of letters jumbled up at the bottom of the screen to work with, and all you have to do is tap them in the order of the word/pun that is being turned into a work of art in front of you.

There are daily rewards to collect, missions to complete which give you more rewards, and achievements that give you even more rewards. If you enjoyed Draw Something and similar games then you’ll like this one too.

Plus it’s kid-friendly, making it easy to play with children. If you’re able to put the phone down long enough to share that is.
