Top 10 New Android Apps — October 2018

October is behind us and it’s time to check out the best new apps that we’ve stumbled upon last month. The vast majority of these apps got announced in October, maybe even all of them, but for a couple of them we cannot be certain it did not happen a couple of days earlier. In any case, all of these apps are quite new, and we’ve talked about most of them during the month of October separately. There are some interesting additions here, some will help you become more productive, while most of them specialize in specific areas. Before you begin browsing, do keep in mind that these apps are not listed in a specific order.

Tasty

Tasty is a cooking application. Chances are you’ve seen some of Tasty’s videos online, no matter if you’re into cooking or not. Well, now those videos and recipes in general are available via the company’s official application, which is actually quite good. This app brings you all those detailed recipes, step-by-step instructions on how to make them, and all that in a really nicely-designed app. You can save the recipes you like, and it’s worth noting that this app does have ads, nor in-app purchases, it’s completely free.

UnApp

Have you ever wanted to get rid of a bunch of apps that are installed on your smartphone, but you couldn’t? Well, there’s an app for that, and it’s called UnApp. This app does not require you to have root access or anything of the sort, but it does allow you to easily uninstall a ton of apps at the same time, all you have to do is select them. The app comes with a clean design, and you can choose between light and dark themes here. In-app purchases are available, but you’re not forced to do anything, as the app is free to use.

It’s also worth noting that the app comes with “Dark UI”, for your convenience.

Stories

Stories is a rather interesting journal / diary application. If you’d like to keep a diary, or simply keep track of things you’ve done in any particular time, Stories is a really nice app that will show you your content using its “timeline design”. The design of this app is actually what’s most appealing about it, it puts focus on the content you put it, and yet it adds some elements that make everything looks really nice. There are a number of ways you can edit your text to make it pop, and this app is free to use, while you can also lock it using your fingerprint scanner or PIN, in case you’d like to keep others from accessing it.
