Top 5 Best Star Wars Android Games – List

LEGO Star Wars: TFA

  • Price: Free
  • In-game purchases: Yes
  • Download: Google Play

If you’ve never tried any of the LEGO adaptions of the Star Wars games, you’re truly missing out. Star Wars on its own is a fun romp, but LEGO Star Wars is a whole other beast and really makes things more fun.

It’s probably the fact that the LEGO theme brings an unapologetic kid-like charm to the story. LEGO Star Wars: TFA is the LEGO retelling of The Force Awakens. The first film in the most recent Star Wars trilogy.

Unlike the original LEGO Star Wars game which was released quite a while ago, this version is free. You can jump right in and experience some of the action without having to drop any money on it.

It also brings in some features that have never been used in a LEGO game. In particular the blaster battles. Plus, you get to play that scene in The Force Awakens where Rey is flying the Millennium Falcon trying to escape.

This is an adventure game so expect there to be lots of exploring for you to do.

Star Wars: Jedi Challenges

  • Price: Free
  • In-game purchases: No
  • Download: Google Play

Jedi Challenges is definitely one of the cooler Star Wars games that users can dive into. The thing is, you need the Jedi Challenges AR hardware for it to work.

While that equipment costs money, the game itself does not. You can grab it from Google Play and it makes you feel like a Jedi who wields a lightsaber.

You can explore the galaxy in hologram form and engage in lightsaber battles against fearsome opponents.

If you need a break from the lightsaber battles, you can play holochess instead. That’s right, a playable version of holochess is included in Jedi Challenges. It’s a really cool nod to the holochess seen in the Star Wars episode IV film.

And there’s no better way to play it then to experience it as if you were playing with actual holograms.

Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic

  • Price: $4.99
  • In-game purchases: No
  • Download: Google Play

Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic was one of the more cherished video games in the Star Wars franchise, and some years ago it was ported to Android in a very faithful recreation that really didn’t change anything.

Much to the delight of fans old and new, because the game was already very good and didn’t need any changes to be made.

Star Wars KOTOR is a role playing game with a massive amount of hours of gameplay. That alone might be a great reason to pick this up. But a better one is that it’s half off right now. So while it normally costs $10, you can pick it up for $5.

Probably because it’s Star Wars day. As you play through the game you can learn over 40 different force powers, meet all manner of unique characters, and even travel across the galaxy in your own star ship.

The game even has full HID controller support so you can play with traditional controls if you prefer them. Though, the on-screen controls are still pretty good.

LEGO Star Wars: TCS

  • Price: $6.99
  • In-game purchases: No
  • Download: Google Play

This is really two games in one for one incredible price. For the cost of $7 you’ll end up getting LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Star Wars II.

Say goodbye to any free time you had for other games for the rest of the week. Because this is going to take up all of that time and then some. Altogether there are 36 story mode levels to play through and on top of that a fair amount of bonus content.

There’s also a wide variety of characters across both games, including Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Han Solo and more. There’s 120 characters in all, so take your time getting to meet all of your favorites.

Since this is two games in one you don’t just need time you also need about 1.5GB of space on your device for the game files. That shouldn’t be a huge problem though these days with how much storage comes on phones.

If you try out the LEGO Star Wars: TFA listed above and you like it, it’s highly recommended to spend the $7 and get this duo here. Because it’s definitely just as good if not better.

Star Wars: Galaxy Of Heroes

  • Price: Free
  • In-game purchases: Yes
  • Download: Google Play

This is another role playing game in the Star Wars franchise, and, a very good one at that. To celebrate May The 4th, EA put out an update that adds in content from The Mandalorian.

With Galaxy of Heroes there’s no one single story to follow like there is in KOTOR, but there’s a lot more gameplay elements involved and you get to play as a bunch of different characters.

Combat is turn-based, so you get to take your time with your decisions and make sure that you unleash the right moves.

The game also features star ship battles, and has plenty of playable content that includes moments, characters, and lore from across the entire Star Wars franchise.
