Ulefone S11 Design & Partial Spec Sheet Revealed; Launching Soon

Ulefone has revealed the design of its upcoming smartphone, the Ulefone S11. The design of this device has been revealed via an official hands-on video that was taken during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona, and published by the company today, via its official YouTube channel. On top of that, Ulefone also shared two official renders of the device, both of which are included in the gallery down below.

As you can see in the provided one-minute video that is embedded down below, the Ulefone S11 sports a waterdrop notch at the top of the display, while it also comes with a “chin” below the display. Its bezels are quite thin overall, while all of its physical keys are located on the right.

This video also shows off the phone in action, as you can see parts of its UI here. The Ulefone S11 comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box, and this is mostly a stock experience, though Ulefone did add some of its own features aboard. You can see the phone handle multitasking in this video, take a peek at its settings, and some applications as well.

The back side of this phone was seemingly inspired by the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, as the phone comes with a similarly-designed camera setup on the back. This phone’s cameras protrude on the back a bit, and as you can see, the phone sports three cameras on the back, and an LED flash as well. Those sensors are placed in two rows, in each row you’ll notice two sensors, same as on the Mate 20 Pro.

Ulefone’s branding is included on the back of this phone as well, while its back side is curved. We’re not sure if that is glass on the back of the phone, or did Ulefone use plastic, but the phone’s frame is made out of metal, that’s for sure.

The company did reveal some Ulefone S11 specifications as well, the phone will feature a 6.1-inch display, while one 13-megapixel and two 5-megapixel cameras will be located on its back side. The Ulefone S11’s cameras have been optimized using ArcSoft’s algorithm, and the device will be fueled by the MediaTek MT6580 processor.

A 3,500mAh battery will be a part of this package as well, while the device will pack in 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. An NFC chip will be a part of the offering as well, while the device will support facial recognition. A fingerprint scanner is not visible here, and it’s probably not included below the display, so the device will probably ship without it. We still do not know how much will the phone cost nor when will it launch, but it is expected to become available soon.
