The Ulefone Armor 6 is one of the company’s newest rugged smartphones, and Ulefone has decided to promote it via a new video that surfaced on the company’s official YouTube channel. This time around Ulefone is promoting the Armor 6’s security features.

The Ulefone Armor 6 comes with both a fingerprint scanner, and facial scanning. The device has a regular, capacitive fingerprint scanner on the back, and it utilizes its selfie camera for facial scanning.

In this particular video, the company is focusing on the phone’s facial scanning feature. The Ulefone Armor 6 will not unlock the device if your eyes are closed, nor can it be unlocked via your picture, at least not based on what we’ve seen in this video.

Setting up the Armor 6’s facial scanning is a breeze as well, all you have to do is let the front-facing camera scan your head from a couple of angles, and you’re good to go. This is a really short video, actually, it has a duration of only 40 seconds, and it is embedded down below for your convenience.

As already mentioned, the Armor 6 is a rugged phone, and it does look like one, but it’s not too bulky. The phone is IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certified, which means that it is water and dust resistant, while it can also handle some drops with ease.

The phone features a 6.2-inch fullHD+ display, and it comes with a rather noticeable display notch. The device is fueled by the Helio P60 64-bit octa-core processor by MediaTek, while a 5,000mAh battery is also included in the package. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone, while the phone also equips 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
