Upcoming LG K52 With Punch-hole Display Spotted In Leaked Render

Last month, LG launched the entry-level LG K31 smartphone for $149.99 in the US. The company also seems to be working on even more budget smartphones under the K-series. The newly leaked press render shows the unannounced LG K52 smartphone in Blue and White color options.

The purported render comes from Evan Blass. Apart from showcasing the phone in two color options, no information is revealed about the LG K52 smartphone. While the Blue color LG K52 comes with a matching frame, the White color variant features a chrome frame.

Leaked render offers first look at the LG K52 smartphone

The LG K52 name first popped up when the company trademarked a bunch of LG K-series smartphones in November last year. From the render, the device is confirmed to sport a punch-hole display. The LG Q70 launched by Verizon in the US is the first smartphone from the company to come with a punch-hole display.

Speaking of the LG K52, it might come with a polycarbonate body to keep the costs low. It will most likely be running on Android 10 out of the box with the custom LG UX UI on the top. On the rear, it comes with a large rectangular camera modular placed on the top left corner.

Comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear

From the render, the device looks to feature a quad-camera setup on the rear along with a huge LED flash. While the power button is placed on the right edge, the volume rocker can be spotted on the left edge. The curved edges on the rear should make the device comfortable to hold.

As seen on the other K-series smartphones, the upcoming K52 might also come with a Mediatek chipset. However, the Snapdragon chipset will make it a competitive offering in its price range. There is no information about the RAM and storage options of this device.

From the date mentioned on the screen, the company should be making an official announcement very soon. Just last week, LG launched its most affordable 5G smartphone in the form of LG Q92 5G. It comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G Mobile Platform, which also powers the LG Velvet 5G.

The LG Q92 5G is currently available in its home country South Korea. As seen on the leaked LG K52 render, the Q92 5G also sports a punch-hole display. The variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is priced at KRW 4,00,000 (approx. $337).
