[UPDATE: Now Available To Pre-Order] OnePlus Nord Will Be Available To Pre-Order In These Countries

UPDATE: The OnePlus Nord is now available to pre-order in Europe. The company detailed the pre-order period, saying that three rounds of pre-orders will take place. The first one started today at 10AM CET / 4AM EST / 1AM PST, in Europe. The second round will kick off on July 8 at 10AM CET. Both of these rounds are ‘limited’ pre-orders, by the way. The third round will start on July 15 at 10AM CET, and this round will be open for 24 hours.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: A well-known tipster, Ishan Agarwal, has revealed in which countries you’ll be able to pre-order the OnePlus Nord. OnePlus confirmed that the device is coming to Europe and India, at least initially, and now we have more information.

These are the countries in which you’ll be able to pre-order the OnePlus Nord

Mr. Agarwal claims that, in addition to India, these are the European countries that will offer the OnePlus Nord pre-order option: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom.

As you can see, there are quite a few countries listed here. The phone is expected to go on pre-order at some point later today, even though it hasn’t even been announced yet.

The tipster says that the phone will be available to pre-order via https://www.oneplus.com/nord/pre-order website, even though that part of OnePlus’ domain was not up and running at the time of writing this article.

He says that we can expect to get three weekly drops starting today, and going until July 15. You will be able to pay the booking amount, and receive the merchandise and the device in a special packaging later on.

Now, considering that this early pre-order period will last until July 15, the phone may launch after that date. July 10 has been rumored, but it seems like the launch date has been pushed back a bit.

The launch could even come after July 21, we’ll see. In any case, OnePlus will confirm the launch date at least a week or two beforehand, so we’ll know ahead of time.

The device will cost less than $500

The OnePlus Nord prototypes have been shared by the company, in the first part of its documentary. The company’s CEO, Pete Lau, also confirmed that the device will cost less than $500.

The OnePlus Nord will be a mid-range smartphone, but its specs should be quite powerful. The Snapdragon 765G is said to fuel the device, while the phone will support 5G connectivity.

The phone will feature a pill-shaped display camera hole, and really thin bezels. A flat display is expected, and that will be a 90Hz fullHD+ display, almost certainly.

Android 10 will come pre-installed on the device, along with OxygenOS. We’re expecting a fairly large battery inside this phone, while the device will probably support 30W fast wired charging.

We’re not sure if water and dust resistance will be included, but we doubt it, the same goes for wireless charging. OnePlus may yet surprise us, though.
