Verizon’s Back To School Sale Offers Massive Discounts On Its Best Smartphones

It’s only mid-July, but that’s not stopping some retailers from kicking off their Back to School sales. And Verizon has a pretty good one going on now.

If you’re in need of a new smartphone – whether you’re going back to school or not – now is the time to grab one.

Verizon is offering up a BOGO on a few phones right now. Allowing you to buy a phone and get one for free (through monthly bill credits). Which is available for the iPhone Xr as well as the Galaxy S10e. It’s obviously a better deal on the Galaxy S10e, since you’re getting 128GB of storage on these phones. This is going to allow you to get one for you, and another for your student, or even your significant other.

Keep in mind that with these BOGO offers, you are going to need to buy both phones on Verizon’s payment plan. And you will also need to stick with Verizon for the full two years until it is paid off. If you decide to leave early, you’ll owe the remaining balance on both phones. Basically, it won’t be free any longer.

If those BOGOs don’t tickle your fancy, there’s also a pretty good deal on a few other smartphones. The Moto Z4 is still available for $10 per month – that’s a total of $240. For a new smartphone, that’s not a bad price. And if you happen to live in one of the five 5G cities, you can get the 5G Moto Mod pretty cheap too.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is also half price right now, coming in at just $12.49 per month for 24 months. That’s just under $300. Now the Galaxy S9 is not new by any means, it is a little over a year old at this point, but still more than worth this price. It still has a really great camera even though it is a single camera smartphone, one of the best displays out there, and of course, there is also the fact that there’s no ugly notch on this one.

If you’re looking for something a bit cheaper, the Galaxy J3 V third-generation is just $7 per month. There’s also the Moto e6 which is now $6 per month as well as a few others. Of course, these won’t be as great as the Galaxy S10e or the Galaxy S9 that we listed above, but for a student, these should still get the job done.

Now, just because this is a “Back to School” sale, doesn’t mean you need to be a student to get these discounts. These are open to anyone. And if you switch over to Verizon right now, you’ll be able to get a $100 prepaid card for your troubles, which is a pretty nice thing to get. If you’re looking to get a new phone from Verizon, you can shop all of the devices that it has on sale right now, by hitting the link down below. These should be good for the next few weeks too, which is pretty nice.
