Virtual v. Reality: ‘The Exorcist: Legion’ VR with Amy Bruni
What happens when a real-life paranormal investigator enters the virtual world of demonic hauntings? That’s the question we posed when recruiting — Amy Bruni, host and executive producer of Travel Channel’s paranormal reality series Kindred Spirits — to don the wireless Oculus Quest, and investigate The Exorcist: Legion VR game. Though Bruni has two decades of experience exploring the scariest purportedly haunted locations around the globe, she admits to be being terrified by the hellfire, bleeding walls, and spectral figures she encountered in the VR space. And in the above video, she walks us through the experience, and explains how the possessed virtual game compares to her own spooky reality show, which premieres its fourth season January 2020.
