You Can Already Reserve Your Samsung Galaxy S10 & Get It Delivered March 8

Samsung is already taking reservations for the Galaxy S10.

In spite of the smartphone having yet to be released, a new reserve section of the Samsung website is now live where those who are interested in being one of the first to get their hands on the new smartphone can register that interest.

While it might seem a bit premature to make a reservation before even knowing for sure what the phone has to offer, Samsung has released some information which might make the decision a little easier to make ahead of time. Especially for those who already know that they will be buying Samsung’s latest smartphone, and want to make sure they have the most options available to them to secure the best deal and get the device in the shortest time.

Firstly, the reserve form makes it clear that those who do pre-order early enough will receive their unit — while supplies last — by March 8, 2019. Basically, that’s as much as a confirmation of the launch date as you are likely to get before the official announcement is made.

Also, Samsung is confirming that those looking to trade in a smartphone when purchasing the Galaxy S10 will be able to save up to $550 on the cost. As is usually the case the actual trade-in value will depend on the device, its age and condition.

It’s also worth noting that $550 is a high amount for a trade-in which is worth taking as an indicator that this will most likely be an expensive smartphone in general.

Adding to the savings aspect, those who “reserve today” will also be eligible to receive an additional $50 in credit which can be redeemed against the purchase of “accessories.” Samsung is expected to announce other devices alongside the Galaxy S10 including the possibility of a new smartwatch and earbuds, and there’s already been rumors that Samsung will bundle the earbuds with a Galaxy S10 purchase.

This is unlikely to be much of a surprise considering this is a new Samsung Galaxy S device, but the reserve page also seems to largely confirm the device will be sold unlocked, as well as made available through all the major carriers in the U.S., including AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular and Verizon.

For those set on ordering the Galaxy S10, what might prove to be the most beneficial aspect of reserving is the option to “get it first” thanks to “early access” to the pre-order process.

Anyone thinking off holding off before registering might want to take note that Samsung states the “Reservation Period” runs from today (February 12) through until February 20 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). Basically, until the device is announced on February 20.

From then on, the pre-order period looks set to officially begin on February 21, 2019 and this will run through until March 7, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Which further adds to the clear suggestion March 8 is indeed when the new Samsung Galaxy S10 will go on general sale.

Samsung does also point out that “not all Galaxy device versions are eligible for this offer” and this is probably best understood as an additional confirmation that the Galaxy S10 is going to arrive to market with multiple variant options.

Although the exact number of options remains unclear, rumors have pointed to a minimum of three-to-four models, and as many as five, with the Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+ (Plus) having all been heavily reported on.

Want to reserve your Galaxy S10 today? Then for now, all you’ll need to hand over is your name, email, zip code, state your carrier/unlocked preference, and click here.
