Microsoft stops development of Windows 10 Mobile (3 photos)
Microsoft has frozen the development and production of all large-scale updates to a mobile operating system, Windows 10 Mobile, thereby recognizing the final death of the native platform. The official statement on the matter did the Executive Director Joe Belfiore.
While Microsoft plans to limit support for existing versions of the operating system for gadgets release updates, security patches and bug fixes, however, expect new features not worth it.
The company recognizes that it is not able to motivate the developers to release applications for Windows Mobile. The audience platform is too small, so that such investments are not feasible. In the future, the company will support their applications on devices running Android and iOS. For Android smartphone have moved even bill gates.
